I have hired MVC Contracting on various projects over the last 10 years, both commercial and residential. Their work is second to none. At all steps along the way (planning, construction, finishing), Mike Chipko’s vision and execution were on point. He and his team are extremely organized and professional.

Our first job with MVC was the build-out of a two story office space for our ad agency. Maximizing space and available light, MVC created a brilliant work environment for our agency. They were well ahead of schedule and kept the job site virtually spotless at the end of each day.

Most recently, MVC built a guest house at my home. It was a smaller footprint but we wanted to make it feel like a larger space. Also, as it was positioned close to my home recording studio, we had special needs with regard to sound containment. We also wanted to utilize green (eco-conscious) materials wherever possible.

Once again, MVC came in with a great creative vision, exceeding all my expectations. They really made the guest house feel like a natural extension of the property. Inside it feels like a “home” - very spacious and well thought out.

We were very please with Michael and his team during a kitchen remodel we had for a client. Construction details were an important factor for the client and Michael was very exact and precise in coordination with the designer and client to achieve the designer’s vision as well making the space functional for the client.

We hadn’t worked with Michael before, however he had done some previous work with the client so we weren’t that worried since we saw his work throughout the house. It’s always good to meet new contractors and their teams.

The quality of work was precise and detail oriented. The client was concerned about some of the cabinetry and edge details and Michael had everything prepared for the designer to review in order to maintain the original design.

Whenever there was a concern or question, Michael brought this up to the designer and client to make sure the process had a smooth transition and that the construction was on time without any delay which is an important factor for the client.

Everyone was on time and worked efficiently during construction and installations. Everything was cleaned and covered.

The relationship was great! We were always on time with meetings and details were always covered to make sure the client was happy at the end, which he was.

The design was actually improved over time as construction progressed due to some on site changes, which was great that Michael was able to work with some design changes while still keeping the original design scheme.
I would recommend Michael to future clients and also clients that I’m working with for construction purposes.
